Christophe Coin

Christophe Coin studied music in his native town of Caen with Jacques Ripoche, then later in Paris with André Navarra. Having studied with Jordi Savall, he spent several years at Hespèrion XX. He is regularly invited to direct and to play with orchestras of both modern and old instruments such as the Concentus Musicus Vienna, Academy of Ancient Music, Il Giardino Armonico, Orch. of the 18th Century, Orch. of the Age of Enlightenment.u2028He is the founder of the Mosaïques Quartet and has been the musical director of the Baroque Ensemble of Limoges for the past twenty years.u2028He teaches at the CNSM in Paris and at the Cantorum School in Basel.
