2006 - Claire, thirty-eight, collapses one evening before the eyes of her seven-year old son. Rushed to the hospital, she undergoes an open-heart surgery.
2009 - Irène, a lung specialist in Brest, understands after a long and painstaking investigation that Médiator, an appetite-suppressant, widely prescribed for slimming, is in fact a poison. This is the beginning of an ongoing battle. First to ban the drug, but also to obtain recognition for the victims.
2010 - Hugo, a young lawyer just opened his practice. A woman makes an appointment. She has heard about Médiator on television. She has just understood that because of these pills, prescribed one June day so that she would fit into her swimming suit, she now sleeps with the TV on so as not to hear the beat of her artificial heart. The Médiator trial, put off several times, is to open in 2018. In My Heart, several intertwined stories tell about one of the biggest health scandals in France.
