Quatuor Zaïde
Duo Manon Galy and Jorge González Buajasán
Winners of the international chamber music competition of Lyon in 2021, Manon Galy and Jorge González Buajasán have been invited by La Belle Saison to perform with the experienced Zaïde Quatuor, and symbolically with the leading exponent, the belgian violonist Eugène Ysaÿe.
In 1899, Ysaÿe was the dedicatee of the String Quartet n.1 of Camille Saint-Saëns. Few years earlier, he was the backer of the Violin and piano sonata by the young Guillaume Lekeu, a work full of wagnerian lyricism.
Putting face to face quatuor and duo in an original form, inspired by old french music, the Ernest Chausson's concert is the apotheosis of the show.
