La période d'exploitation au Théâtre est terminée.
Equally passionate about solo and chamber music repertoire, the violinist David Grimal has always strived to share music freely. His wish has become a reality with Dissonances, an artistic collective, varying in its members and performing with no conductor.
At the invitation of La Belle Saison, he will join forces with two young partners whose talent needs no further proof: viola player Marie Chilemme, who also founded the Cavatine Quartet with her brother Guillaume, and the cellist Yan Levionnois, nominated for the Victoires de la Musique 2011 in the category « Instrumental Soloist Revelation».
These brilliant musicians will revive the freshness of works by Kodály and Ravel, written in the aftermath of the Second World War for an unusual musical ensemble comprising violin and cello, along with string trios by Schnittke and Dohnányi.
Zoltán Kodály : Duet for violin and cello, op. 7
Alfred Schnittke : Trio for strings, op. 191
Maurice Ravel : Sonata for violin and cello
Ernő Dohnányi : Serenade for string trio in C major, op. 10
Violin David Grimal
Viola Marie Chilemme
Cello Yan Levionnois
