This new highlight of our musical scene proposes that
we consider music as an inexhaustible universal reserve. We shall delight in drawing from the mixture of cultures, of rhythms and
colours, of instruments and sounds that surround us. Chassol, an atypical pianist
bordering on pop and contemporary music,
will come to offer us Indiamore, his musical vision of Calcutta and Benares, and Pedro Soler and Gaspar Claus will continue the father-son dialogue
around Andalusian music between the flamenco tradition and contemporary sounds. Tunisian Emel Mathlouthi will invite us to revisit the oriental
repertoire, while Roberto Fonseca will on piano solo give us taste of Cuban music of yesterday and of today. During two weeks – the first dedicated to projects unplugged, the second to
amplified music - artists will propose their vision of a certain universal music,
music fiercely accessible and contemporary.
