La période d'exploitation au Théâtre est terminée.
For a long time I stayed away from Godot. Per chance, through a reading, I rediscovered this text so mortally full of life, so concrete and so funny, too. But is this reunion really a coincidence in the present day? Is our world not sinking into confusion? To relate an existence that knows no form, no principle, and in which life is at a standstill, Beckett has pulled apart both form and the principle of the story. Thus, a story at a stand-still becomes a suitable story for telling a life at a standstill. Godot speaks of void, but above all of the relentless capacity that human ants have to resist a thousand tragicomic twists and turns of language, body and objects. We wanted to read the piece, its text and stage directions, step by step, simply and fiercely. We suffered a lot and we laughed a lot with this Mr. Beckett.
