10 YEARS OF THE JAZZ NOMADS!

Each year at the Bouffes du Nord, musical and body language, learned and common words are brought to life all together for three evenings in a questing and unusual manner, paying homage to the liberty of expression in the most uncompromising sense. A manifesto for free and creative music, that is recognisably alive, vibrant and breathing, « Free Voice » offers asylum to unconventional artists, but also to scientists, thinkers and inventors who shine a salvatory light onto a world that is recomposing itself. From Josef Nadj to Camille Boitel passing by Édouard Glissant, Valère Novarina, André Minvielle, Nosfell, Fantazio, Jörg Müller, Albert Jacquard, Médéric Collignon, Trin Xuan Thuan, Serge Teyssot-Gay, Joëlle Léandre, Bernard Lubat, Denis Charolles, Charles Pennequin... horizons and disciplines pass each other and create unforgettable moments, sometimes prepared at length, sometimes kept back, for a magical burst of spontaneity. In these areas of “strange freedom”, pleasure and curiosity will always be at hand !
